Ergo Sum cherished artist, Joni Chongkol passes away.

Irvine, CA. - March 07, 2006 - Ergo Sum sadly announces the passing of Southern California artist Joni Chongkol.
Julie Creed, Principal of Ergo Sum stated, "Joni was part of our artist family and will be missed. She was a natural talent and painted with much passion. Despite her long term illness she continued to paint. Joy is seen in all of her imagery. As she has wished, 100% of the licensing proceeds of Joni's imagery will be donated honorably on her behalf to St. Jude Children's Hospital in Memphis Tennessee. Joni's art and spirit of giving will continue to be her lasting legacy."
Joni Chongkol worked in a multitude of mediums; pastels, oil, pen and ink, and photography. However, her specialty and passion was always acrylics. She found beauty and inspiration from looking at nature and from capturing the moment of life's simple pleasures. Her on going collection features a variety of delicate florals and fluid Koi.
Personal donations to the Joni Chongkol Memorial Fund may be made directly to St Jude.
