Robert Suzuki

Robert Suzuki is a self-taught artist who specializes in acrylics on canvas. His formal training in commercial art and design was honed at the Los Angeles Art Center of School of Design.

While afflicted with Parkinson’s Disease, daily medication allows Robert to experience intermittent freedom of movement. Through it all he continues to paint, keeping him active in his compelling desire to create and express himself visually. His imagery often denotes an unconscious impression of how he interpreted his illness. A portion of the profits of Robert Suzuki’s imagery aids in the effort against Parkinson’s Disease and helping to fund research.

SET: Tulip Bouquet A breezy, billowy bouquet of luscious blooms radiate in the light. Each stock enhanced by a warmth of color and splendor of scent. SET: Abstract The monolith, dark and assuming towers upward. Angles move and flow while dashes of colors entice you. SET: Abstract Spatter A verdigris urn bestows an array of colorful lily's and poppies. The days last light illuminates every detail, perfectly. SET: Abstract Evolution Full in form and evolving into dark empty hollows. Eroding the silhouette into ridged pieces of what once was. SET: Abstract Movement Movement in light captured. The wind blows, a form shifts longingly and angles further, reaching ever more. SET: Abstract Red Single and focused, an accent spiders out. It draws you near where every detail is highlighted and purposely placed. SET: Mosaic Tree A lone tree twists slowly upward towards the orbiting ring of the sun. Moving, reaching and growing. SET: Abstract Color The darkness emerges amongst a sky ablaze and fluid in a meld of color. Seemless in complex undertones that gleam into gold.
