Lorraine Iwamasa
Lorraine Iwamasa is a classically trained artist. Upon graduating from El Camino College in Torrance California with an AA degree in Art, Lorraine was awarded the prestigious Lila North Memorial Art Scholarship. She furthered her education by graduating Cum Laude with a BA degree in Art from California State University, Long Beach specializing in oil and acrylic paints.
She’s able to capture subtle nuances in the varying degrees of texture, shading, and color while conveying the radiant and natural beauty of organic objects. Lorraine Iwamasa’s still life paintings of natural elements evoke a warmth, comfort, and charm where her inspiration often comes from nature, dreams, and travels.
