Sylvia Bissonnette
Sylvia Bissonnette is an award-winning photographer who lived in Europe before moving to the U.S. With European influences,
Sylvia drew, painted and created three-dimensional objects in many mediums. Eventually, her artistic interest shifted to photography.
She graduated from C.W. Post College with a BFA degree in Fine Arts and an MFA in Photography. In New York City, she apprenticed with the city's
most prolific advertising photographers and developed techniques of special effects and a unique artistic approach to photography that led to
many gallery shows throughout New York. In 1986, she opened her own studio in Southern California, where she presently works and resides.
